Where is my data stored, and is it safe?

On secure, encrypted servers in the EU. Your data never leaves the EU.

Is my data used to train AI?

When you chat with Proper, your information is sent to a privately hosted LLM with no data sent to foundation model providers.

What happens if I delete my account?

Everything goes. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within a month, including backups. We don't keep anything "just in case".

Is this financial advice?

No. Proper is an information service, we help you see and understand your finances clearly. We don't recommend specific investments, products, or actions. For guidance tailored to your personal situation, please consult a qualified professional.

Do you sell or share my data?

No. Your data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't run ads, and we don't pass it to brokers or data resellers.

Who can see and access my data?

Only you. Insurely engineers may access your data during a two-week retention window strictly for maintenance purposes, after which it is deleted. Your data is never shared with third parties, and all communication is encrypted even in transit.
